Saatchi & Saatchi, Vimeo and Moby teamed up to have this video challenge. The challenge was to make a music video with the theme “Hello Future”, for one of 3 songs from Moby’s new album. I’m really loving the new album. I seriously will always be inspired by Moby and what he does.
But what I wanted to show you is this video. It’s made by WATERGUN.TV, an audiovisual studio that makes music videos and shorts from London, Madrid and Los Angeles.
The video is greatly executed and I really liked it. I might be abit biased as it really mixes up things I love very much; Night time in the city, skateboarding and Moby’s music.
Check out the photon lightboards, I would seriously considering getting one of these if I wasn’t such a crappy skateboarder.
Interesting and beautiful stuff by Mark Power

“Damewse” says: I got frustrated with NASA and made this video. NASA is the most fascinating, adventurous, epic institution ever devised by human beings, and their media sucks. Seriously. None of their brilliant scientists appear to know how to connect with the social media crowd, which is now more important than ever. In fact, NASA is an institution whose funding directly depends on how the public views them.
In NASA’s defense, they have embraced social media. I guess my point is that they don’t fully understand how to best use it. In all of their brilliance, NASA seems to have forgotten to share their hopes and dreams in a way the public can relate to, leaving one of humanity’s grandest projects with terrible PR and massive funding cuts.

A rather simple film done through the window of a train to Tokyo. Shot with a HD Camera and a mirror filter.
It’s really beautiful to watch, as probably many others I feel I’m looking at a city in water, on a still day. Amazing

I’m personally more a skateboarder myself, but since I mostly cruise around and some of my friends has become longboarders - well this video didn’t give much reason NOT to get a longboard.
